This is one of the most spectacular places in Guatemala!!On the shores of the lake Petén Itzá this small, quiet town is halfway between Flores and Tikal National Park...the ideal place to stay when visiting Tikal, Yaxha or any of the other important Mayan Archeological sites here in Petén.
My name is Gabriela de la Bastide and I am a longtime resident of Guatemala. I reside in this great town and I sell jewelry based on the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar. The jewelry is made of tin and then double dipped in 97.5 silver. Each piece is original and exclusive and depicts many of the gliphs found on the calendar.
